2) In what reason McDonald’s going to franchise its business to Malaysia?

We believe that there are many Malaysians who have all these traits and can be successful McDonald's franchisees. When we begin recruiting franchisees, we are actually offering a highly potential profitable business opportunity. In fact, we believe that we can contribute to the growth and strength of Malaysian SMI entrepreneurs by offering opportunities to those who have an interest in McDonald's.

3) How can I become a McDonald’s franchisee in Malaysia?

It is depend on your decision. There are two ways to become a McDonald's franchisee, you can start a new restaurant from scratch or buy an existing McDonald's restaurant. It will all depend on what is available at the time that you complete your training. Either way, you need to fulfil certain financial requirements to be a McDonald's franchisee.

4) What qualifications does you set for selling the franchise right?

Candidates should require the following qualities:

• Significant business experience - Individuals who have demonstrated successful ownership or management of multiple business units or have managed multiple departments.

• Rapid growth - Individuals who possess the capability to grow rapidly with McDonald's.

• Business plan - The ability to develop and execute a business plan.

• Manage finances well - Ability to manage finances including a thorough understanding of business financial statements.

• Good management skills - Commitment to personally manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant business.

• Training - Willingness to complete a comprehensive world class training program and become proficient in all aspects of operating a McDonald's restaurant business.

• Exceptional customer experience - The capability to effectively manage an organization that recruits, trains, and motivates restaurant employees who deliver an exceptional customer experience.

• Good credit history - An acceptable credit history

5)  How much will the initial investment cost?

The initial investment varies depend on the type of restaurants, such as mall restaurants, shop front restaurants, drive-thru restaurants and special sites restaurants. Pandan Mewah is a drive-thru restaurant so that need the highest capital outlay.
